Social housing / multi-floor living

Affordable housing

The population of major German cities is continuously increasing every year. In order to remain attractive, cities need to create new, affordable housing in a short time. The solution is a qualified extension of the cities by increasing and utilizing the open spaces. In this context, the purchase of new land to be developed is often not necessary – an important factor in reducing costs.

These measures go hand- in-hand with an energetic upgrade of the existing building and thus offer added value for the entire quarter. In addition, the extension restores the historical population density of, for example, the settlements of the 1950s, as the m² consumption per capita has risen of approx. 25 m² to approx. 45m².

Due to the modular construction, it is possible to create different forms of housing, from student living to families with children. The floor plan below can be built up in less than 20 weeks, for example, and offers space for approx. 20 residents.
