Production in the Field Factory
The field factory is a mobile production unit that is built on, or in, the immediate vicinity of the building site. By assembling prefabricated components to the module on site, the transport of the modules from a stationary factory to construction sites throughout Germany and also to other European countries can be avoided. This saves many truck journeys and reduces CO2 emissions and external costs.
On a rail-system inside the assembly hall, the components delivered time-controlled are connected to the module. Up to 120 m2 of living space leave the field factory per day and are transferred in the form of finished modules including all connections to the building.
