In 2013, LiWooD won an EU-wide conceptual tender for the construction of 3 buildings for 265 students.
The tender was based on a catalog of criteria, where factors such as energy costs, maintenance, material quality, sustainability, and price were weighted. From the top of the foundation slab, the buildings were ready for occupancy within 6 months.
