Interim School in Munich

Rent and reuse a school? At LiWooD, sustainability is a TOP priority!

This project involved the realization of a 3-story interim building for the preliminary classes of the Gymnasium in Neubiberg. With a total of 12 large classrooms, distributed over 3 floors with 4 classrooms each and opening onto a large learning area, the school was designed so that it can be dismantled and rebuilt at another location within 6 weeks of summer vacation. – This is unique in timber construction.

The classrooms and the learning area in the middle of the building are separated by partially large windows that flood the learning island with daylight. This creates a pleasant and sustainable learning atmosphere for around 384 students in this timber module building. Specialist rooms, such as art and craft rooms, are also used here. The special feature of this model – the client can rent the property.
